    I broke my Melitta coffee pot and needed a replacement ASAP. I placed the order online, and a new pot arrived promptly by Canada Post, no fuss, no emails. That's the way to do business!

    Pour-over method

    The pour-over method of making coffee is vastly superior to all these expensive coffee makers. The Kuerig with its lavish use of disposable pods is the most wasteful system imaginable. You can get a unit for the Kuerig that lets you add coffee and avoid buying individual pods, but the Melitta method appeals the most. No you can even get recyclable filters that would fit the cone, but you have to make sure that sediment doesn't go through the filter, or else the coffee will be bitter. I suppose you could use a No. 2 or No. 4 filter in the No. 6 cone to make less coffee as you require. You could even put the cone over a large mug and just make a single big cup, and it all works.

    Easy way to great coffee

    I have been using the Melitta coffee method for 40 years. I wouldn't change. I order 2 Melitta pot setups at a time so I am always prepared for morning coffee or guests. Everyone who stops by and has my coffee always comments about how good it is. The #6 filters are iffy to find so several years ago I switched to buying a case at a time from Amazon It's a simple solution to the problem.

    Replacement cone

    I have the Melina glass carafe but can’t find the cone that holds the paper filters anywhere. Do you sell just the cones. I can only find for one cup. I want for the #6 filters.
