Love this

Aesthetically, the gunmetal metallic finish is gorgeous and I like how the filter bed area is glazed pure white. Looks aside, it makes excellent coffee.
TIP: I run this under warm water for a few moments while my kettle is boiling, and fill my mug with warm water as well. When my water is finished boiling, I dump the water from my mug and brew my coffee. Thanks to Melitta for providing more non-plastic options.

The Original Melitta Coffee Filter Holder for Pour Over Coffee

I recently discovered the method and art of pour over coffee brewing. I don't think that I really tasted good coffee until I tried this for myself. I now have three different pour over coffee holders and this is my favorite. I have coffee produced by other methods, and even have a Keurig Microbrew, but that is just used now to heat water for tea. Pour over is now my way of making excellent tasting coffee. The Melitta is the original coffee filter holder, and works beautifully. The coffee gently drips into your cup until you are finished with your pour over process. Very simple but beautiful, functional design made of quality Porcelain. This is the one to get for traditional pour over coffee.

Great coffee, Melitta pour overs are my fave!

This thing is great and the porcelain version is hard to find in the store.Different brands offer slightly different designs. I prefer the single hole style of Melitta, I think it brews the richest cup, but "to each his/her own".It feels sturdy and fits over my wide mug just fine.
